About the Founder
Richard is the founder of China Trekker. Born in Chengdu, Sichuan — gateway to China's western mountains — he is a certified English-speaking guide who has served hundreds of international visitors. An avid adventurer, Richard has completed the Beijing 100km Mountain Challenge twice, trekked the Kubuqi Desert, Mount Wutai, and Siguniang Mountain, and traveled to over 30 countries for hiking and exploration. He created China Trekker to help foreign hikers discover China's trails with confidence.
